The second edition of the Carbon Management in the Value Chain Program, which occurred during 2013, trained 101 suppliers of Banco do Brasil, Braskem, Cemig, Coca-Cola, Ipiranga, Itaú Unibanco, Petrobras, Schneider, Vale and Votorantim to develop the Greenhouse Gas Emission (GEE) inventories. Of the 101 trained suppliers, 30 finalized their inventories. In the first edition of the program (held in 2012) 32 suppliers were trained and only 22 produced inventories. This year, in the second edition, the number of participants in the program tripled and furthermore there was an increase in 70% in the number of companies that finalized their emission inventories.
