The second phase of the Business Partnership for Ecosytemic Services (PESE) has the purpose of promoting business strategies that link corporate performance to sustainable management of the ecosystems and biodiversity. The initiative will offer support to Brazilian companies that recognize and manage their impact and dependencies regarding these strategic subjects, and will build a permanent platform for exchanging experiences, prioritizing the joint progress and continuous evolution of the participants. With the participation in PESE, through six workshops and technical consultation, the companies will receive training for use of the Ecosystem Services Review – ESR and Corporate Ecosystem Valuation – CEV tools, pioneering methodologies created by WRI and WBCSD, among other partners, to assist companies in dealing with the risks and opportunities resulting from changes in the ecosystems.
