Training for SASB Standards

In the U.S. the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – which executes the role of the Securities Commission (CVM) in that country – announced that it will determine that companies with publicly traded shares on the U.S. exchange report certain sustainability indicators for the benefit of the public and investors. To train the companies in the financial (banks and insurance companies) and extractive (mining, steel and oil and gas) sectors in the standards established by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), CEBDS offers a workshop to introduce a roadmap to the company about the way to implement and report the indicators, including the presentation of a “bridging document” regarding GRI. The SASB standards focus on relevant sustainability issues to be inserted into the mandatory reports for publicly traded companies on the U.S. exchange, such as the 20-F forms.
