Recommendations for electrical energy policy in Brazil



In November CEBDS launched the study “Recommendations for electrical energy policy in Brazil” during a parallel event of the 19th UN Conference on Climate (COP19), which proposes paths for the Brazilian electrical grid to be strengthened in sustainable manner. Among the recommendations are the following: investment in energy efficiency, from transmission to the final consumption, regulation of auctions by sources, preventing unfair competition and improvement in the environmental licensing process report, such as the expansion of the technical team for analysis of the license.
