{"id":22345,"date":"2015-05-26T18:17:40","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T18:17:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cebds.org\/noticia\/producao-e-consumo-sustentaveis\/"},"modified":"2023-06-23T15:02:39","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T15:02:39","slug":"producao-e-consumo-sustentaveis","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/cebds.org\/en\/noticia\/producao-e-consumo-sustentaveis\/","title":{"rendered":"Sustainable Production and Consumption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O <i>World Business Council for Sustainable Development <\/i>(WBCSD) and CEBDS carry out the <b>Sustainable Production and Consumption Workshop <\/b>between May 26th and 27th, in S\u00e3o Paulo. This meeting is a second step in advancing CEBDS&#039;s work on Sustainable Production and Consumption, one of the platform&#039;s priority areas. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acao2020.com.br\">Action 2020<\/a>This workshop addresses four major themes: food and beverages; mobility and transportation; household and housing consumption (energy, waste, appliances); and personal household goods (clothing, hygiene, beauty, accessories). Within each theme, various issues related to production and consumption are discussed. These studies are the first step towards defining a methodology for <em>Value Chain Footprint<\/em> \u2013 analysis of the ecological footprint of the product&#039;s value chain throughout its life cycle.
