Already in the preparations for COP2<\/a>8<\/a>, CEBDS, through CT Climate, Energy and Sustainable Finance, promoted the webinar \u201cWhat did the Bonn Preparatory Conference represent?\u201d, on July 12, in partnership with LACLIMA<\/a>. The action was exclusive to associated companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by the Executive Director of LACLIMA, Caroline Prolo, presenting what was discussed at the Conference, which is also known as Pre-COP, the results for the business sector and Brazil's position in the discussions, as well as trends for the COP 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Director of Climate, Energy and Sustainable Finance, Viviane Romeiro, understanding the pre-COP results and referrals is important for the government, business sector and civil society to prepare more strategically for COP28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bonn Preparatory Conference took place from 5 to 15 June. The event, held annually, seeks to advance and continue discussions on critical points on the Paris Agreement agenda and prepare draft decisions for adoption at the COP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, technical discussions in Bonn involved important topics such as the Global Stocktake<\/a>, mitigation and adaptation actions, climate finance, just transition and loss and damage, which will be taken to the negotiating tables at COP 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COP 28 will take place in Dubai, from November 30th to December 12th, and CEBDS will soon publish its activities schedule at the event.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
