In this third edition of the award, CEBDS adds a new category that will reward social projects focused on empowering and training women for leadership. All registered social projects that meet the requirements of the call for proposals will be presented to member companies and may be &quot;adopted&quot; for a period of 12 months.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The complete announcement, with descriptions of the four categories and the registration area, is available on the website. <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cebds.org\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cebds.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The other categories are the same as in previous years: Associated Companies, which will award three female executives; New Leaders Initiative, which will award two companies that develop initiatives to empower and train new female leaders; and the Popular Vote Category, which will recognize a female leader spontaneously nominated by the public, including representatives from the private sector, the third sector, or the government.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the president of CEBDS, Marina Grossi, the award was conceived to boost the achievement of SDG 5 in Brazil, which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls by 2030. \u201cIt is an opportunity to recognize women leaders in companies who contribute to achieving the SDGs, and individuals and projects that dedicate efforts to promoting gender equality. This is one of the great challenges facing our society that must be addressed by everyone,\u201d she emphasizes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registrations can be made until July 10th, and the winners will be announced during the CEBDS Seminar \u2013 Vision 2050: The Future is Made Now \u2013 which takes place in S\u00e3o Paulo on September 5th.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Discover the four categories of the 2019 CEBDS Female Leadership Award\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b>Associated Companies Category:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award will recognize three female executives from companies associated with CEBDS for their initiatives to advance the SDGs. The winners will be chosen by a jury composed of the CEBDS Advisory Board and distinguished guests.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>New Leaders Initiative:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award will recognize two companies that are developing an initiative or project aimed at empowering and training new female leaders. The Council brings together approximately 60 of the largest business groups in the country, with revenues equivalent to 401 times the GDP and responsible for over 1 million direct jobs.
