The survey was answered by approximately 50 of the country&#039;s largest companies, both members of the organization and non-members, and shows that the issue is a topic of discussion in 941 of them, with 421 of these companies addressing the issue within the highest governance bodies.<\/p>\n<h4>Throughout this year after the release of the statement, CEBDS also made progress in relation to the topics addressed by the commitment, highlighting: the Businessmen for Climate Positioning delivered to the president of COP26 Alok Sharma, the publication of the CEO Guide and the positioning on Food Systems, which among the various relevant points addresses the importance of chain traceability, the Positioning on the General Environmental Licensing Law - PL 3.729\/2004, defending care and necessary measures in the socio-environmental dimension.<\/h4>\n<h4>Furthermore, the sector contributed to Bill 528\/2021, which regulates the Brazilian Emissions Reduction Market (MBRE), and on the topic of biodiversity, it published \u201cBrazil&#039;s engagement in the negotiations at COP 15 on Biodiversity\u201d with contributions to COP15 and its new global framework.<\/h4>\n<p>&quot;Climate change is already a reality, and we need to act immediately, with ambitious goals and commitments.
