The Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), which brings together around 120 large companies in the country, is participating in the Conference with <strong>75 members, in their largest delegation in history.<\/strong>, reinforcing the sector&#039;s commitment to the implementation phase of the climate agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The organization, which represents the Brazilian business sector, is present. <strong>Blue Zone<\/strong>, a restricted area where official negotiations take place. The <strong>Business Pavilion <\/strong>(PV-C87), conceived in partnership with <strong>We Mean Business Coalition (WMBC)<\/strong>, O <strong>World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)<\/strong> and 12 other partners, it is a strategic space to promote business solutions capable of accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe business sector arrives at COP30 mobilized and committed to building ambitious, scalable climate solutions with real impact. We are in a moment of transition from the era of promises to the era of implementation,\u201d he states. <strong>Marina Grossi<\/strong>, president of CEBDS and Special Envoy of the Business Sector to COP30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brazil of Solutions: the country as a global provider<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CEBDS will officially launch the <strong>Brazil of Solutions<\/strong>, a platform that brings together projects and technologies developed by national companies focused on decarbonization and a just transition. The initiative reinforces Brazil&#039;s role as <strong>global provider of nature-based climate solutions<\/strong> It will be presented on November 11th at 3 PM in the Business Pavilion, in the Blue Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Coalitions for Decarbonization&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With a focus on transforming commitments into concrete results, CEBDS leads the way. <a href=\"https:\/\/cebds.org\/en\/coalizoes-hub\/\"><strong>multi-sector coalitions for decarbonization<\/strong><\/a> In strategic areas such as energy, transport, agriculture and essential minerals, these initiatives bring together businesses, government and academia to build consensus and propose practical solutions for the country&#039;s climate transition. Throughout the two weeks of COP, various events related to these coalitions will be held.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Discussions on financing and transition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the highlights of the CEBDS program is also a <strong>official side event of the UNFCCC<\/strong>, carried out in partnership with <strong>Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI)<\/strong> and the <strong>World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA)<\/strong>. The meeting, entitled <em>\u201cAligning Corporate Transition Plans and Sovereign Taxonomies to Bridge the Implementation Gap\u201d<\/em>, will discuss how companies and governments can align their <strong>climate transition plans and taxonomies<\/strong> to transform ambition into action and accelerate the implementation of climate goals. The session will be held in <strong>November 19th, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, in Side Event Room 6 (Blue Zone)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Another highlight is the panel. <strong>\u201c&quot;Implementation COP: Innovation with Potential for International Scaling&quot;\u201d<\/strong>, organized by CEBDS in <strong>Brazil Pavilion<\/strong>, on the day <strong>November 18th, at 10 AM<\/strong>. The debate will bring together representatives from government, businesses, and civil society to discuss how Brazilian and international initiatives already underway\u2014in line with sectoral plans and Brazil&#039;s NDC\u2014can be scaled up and become global benchmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Journeys towards COP30<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CEBDS&#039;s journey towards COP30 was built over the past year based on broad business mobilization and the support of committed companies. This mobilization includes three <strong>thematic sessions<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>Decarbonization<\/strong>, <strong>Regenerative Agrifood Systems<\/strong> It is <strong>Bioeconomy<\/strong> \u2014 supported by <strong>B3, Banco Bradesco, Banco Ita\u00fa, Banco Santander, Bayer, Energisa, Ipiranga Distribuidora, Petrobras, Philip Morris Brasil, RaiaDrogasil, Siemens Brasil, Vale, Vibra Energia, Volkswagen Truck &amp; Bus<\/strong> It is <strong>Yara Brazil<\/strong>.
