The Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) has the honor to invite you to the Low-Carbon Technologies Partnership Initiative (LCTPi) Brazilian roundtable. We bring this initiative to Brazil together with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
The LCTPi goal is to promote public-private partnerships to speed up the development of low-carbon technologies to a level that is consistent with the global GHG emissions reduction aiming the 2ºC goal. The project works as a platform that gatherer several stakeholders (business; government; NGO; investors; academy; etc.) to discuss and establish action plans to help give create, innovate and give scale to low-carbon technologies/solutions.
The Action Plans that will be discussed during the Brazilian roundtable will be consolidated internationally and presented ate the 21st United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 21), at an event organized by the global partners (WBCSD, IEA e SDSN).
The themes that will be discussed at the Brazilian roundtable are renewable energy, cement, forests, agriculture and biofuels.
