Focusing on highly relevant international agendas, we promoted two meetings, on June 26th, with the participation of important experts to promote the exchange of knowledge and innovative practices for the business sector.
The workshop aimed at the Circular Economy Working Group received Josip Pervan and Silvia Panizzutti, from WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development, to present the Global Circularity Protocol (GCP). This protocol, launched in 2023, is an important milestone for companies to measure and report their progress in resource efficiency and circularity.
In partnership with Climate Company, the workshop held by the Agri-food Systems Thematic Chamber addressed the new European Union regulation on traceability (EUDR), which will come into force in December 2024. We discussed the implications of this regulation with Sofia Helena Zanella Carra, Paula Pinto Zambrano and Jean-François Timmers, experts in sustainability and deforestation-free chains.
These initiatives are part of our ongoing training and coordination strategy, essential for advancing global sustainability agendas. The exchange of knowledge between our associates and international experts is fundamental to promoting sustainable practices in their operations.
