In June 2024, Brazil launched the National Bioeconomy Strategy, focused on sustainable and productive development. One of its pillars, the National Sociobioeconomy Plan, is being created collaboratively, with the participation of more than 250 people, including 150 representatives of Traditional Peoples and Communities.
Workshops were held in five regions of Brazil, promoting an inclusive approach focused on a sustainable development model that fosters work, income and climate balance.
