This case study presents the results of the project “Strengthening Brazil’s National Bioeconomy Policy”, carried out with support from the UK PACT program, an international cooperation initiative of the UK Government aimed at transitioning to resilient, low-carbon economies.
The project was conducted by a consortium of organizations led by the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), in partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Brazil, Instituto Arapyaú, and the Brazil Climate, Forests and Agriculture Coalition, which worked together to provide technical support to the Federal Government, especially the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA) and the Secretariat of Bioeconomy, in the construction of the National Bioeconomy Development Strategy and Plan (PNDBio).
