Juliano Assunção is the Executive Director of CPI/PUC-Rio and a Professor in the Department of Economics at PUC-Rio. Since 2011, he has worked at CPI/PUC-Rio, contributing to the formulation of better climate policies in Brazil through evidence-based analysis and direct contact with decision-makers and civil society. Juliano provides strategic guidance to CPI/PUC-Rio's various research and projects, focusing particularly on the following areas: improving policies to increase land-use efficiency; improving compliance with the new Forest Code; the relationship between increased productivity and the protection of natural resources; and Brazil's entry into the carbon market as an opportunity to advance the conservation of the Amazon. Juliano is also the coordinator of the Amazon 2030 project, which aims to promote a sustainable development plan for the Brazilian Amazon by 2030. In 2024, with Brazil holding the G20 presidency, Juliano assumed the position of technical coordinator of the expert group of the G20 Task Force on Climate Change (TF-CLIMA). He holds a PhD in Economics from PUC-Rio, a Master's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, also from UFMG. Marcelo Medeiros is the co-founder and chairman of the board of re.green, a company committed to restoring one million hectares of rainforest. The initiative promotes biodiversity and carbon capture, using scalable, research-based methods to generate significant environmental and social benefits. Marcelo has extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship. He founded an industrial company before moving to the banking sector in Brazil, where he spent most of his executive career. He was one of the founders of Banco Capitaltec and later became a partner at Banco Garantia, one of Brazil's largest investment banks. In 2003, he founded Lanx Capital, an investment firm that has executed and led numerous transactions, from large private equity deals to technology startups.

Marina Cançado is a business administrator by training and has over 15 years of experience in innovation, sustainability, and positive impact. Throughout her career, she has played various roles in initiatives with the public sector, philanthropy, business, and the financial market, always seeking to connect multiple stakeholders, implement transformative approaches, and test new narratives to broaden engagement around businesses and investments with a positive impact. Currently, she leads Converge Capital, a company focused on engaging the private sector and mobilizing capital for businesses focused on climate and nature. She is also the co-founder of ATO, a sustainability communications company that supports companies, social organizations, and influencers in exploring new paths, strategies, narratives, and formats to make this type of content more attractive and transformative. Marina also organizes some of the main events related to climate and nature solutions, such as the Brazil Climate Summit and the Brazil Climate Investment Week. For her contributions, she has been recognized in numerous lists such as Forbes Under 30, 100 Climate Innovators, 100 Women of Innovation, Women in Our Time, Women to Watch in the Financial Market, among others.

She holds a law degree from the University Center of Brasília (UniCeub) and a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from FGV. She has been with PATRI Public Policy & Public Affairs since 2005, having worked in the Legal, Tax, and Federal Executive sectors, with particular experience in the energy, mining, and logistics sectors. Maurício Adade holds a degree in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas – UNICAMP, and an MBA in Business Administration from the Escola Superior de Propaganda & Marketing (ESPM) in São Paulo. He began his career in 1988 as a technical manager at Roche Vitamins. In 1992, he accepted his first international challenge, being appointed Director of Human Nutrition and Health at Roche in Mexico, where he remained for six years. He also worked in Singapore and Switzerland, where he was Vice President of the Global Industry Unit Food Pharma at Roche Vitamins. At DSM, starting in October 2003, still in Switzerland, with the acquisition of Roche Vitamins, he was appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Global Marketing for DSM Nutritional Products. In January 2006, he became President of the Human Nutrition and Global Health area at DSM. In 2010, he moved to the Netherlands to assume the position of Chief Marketing Officer at DSM's headquarters. In 2015, he returned to Brazil and assumed his current position as president of DSM Latin America, being responsible for the implementation of regional strategies in 16 countries and leading more than 2,000 people. He is a member of the Advisory Board of ABIA (Brazilian Association of the Food Industry); President of the Board of Directors of ABBI (Brazilian Association of Bioinnovation); Member of the CEO Legacy of the Dom Cabral Foundation; and Member of the Board of CEBDS (Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development).

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1984), Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences (Plant Physiology) from the Federal University of Viçosa (1988) and PhD in Geobotany from the University of Trier (1993). Currently, she is a full professor at the University of Brasília, working in the area of Ecology, especially Ecosystem Ecology, focusing on the Cerrado biome, land-use change, biogeochemistry, and global environmental change. She is co-coordinator and author of chapters in the IPCC Reports (5th and 6th), co-coordinator of the Mitigation Working Group of the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change, and coordinator of a chapter in a RIOCCADAPT report. She represented Latin America in the International Nitrogen Initiative and was a member of scientific committees of organizations such as UNEP, IGBP, and CCAFS/CGIAR. He has held management positions at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and at CAPES, having served as President of CAPES in 2023. He is a member of international scientific academies and councils, including the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, TWAS, the National Academy of Sciences (USA), Earth League, and the Climate Crisis Advisory Group.

Roberto Rodrigues is an agronomist and rural producer, coordinator of the Agribusiness Center at FGV and Special Ambassador for Cooperatives at FAO. He was a professor in the Department of Rural Economics at UNESP – Jaboticabal-SP and presided over the OCB (Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives), the COSAG (Superior Council of Agribusiness of FIESP), the SRB (Brazilian Rural Society), the ABAG (Brazilian Agribusiness Association) and the ICA (International Cooperative Alliance). He also served as Secretary of Agriculture for the State of São Paulo (1993/1994) and Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (2003-2006).
