Business sector sends contributions to the National Policy on Human Rights and Business

  • Posted in 16/08/2024

CEBDS sent the contributions of the business sector to the National Policy on Human Rights and Business to the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC).

The contributions were the result of the systematization and convergence of two self-managed events, held in São Paulo, at the headquarters of TozziniFreire Advogados, and in Rio de Janeiro, at Eletrobras.

Self-managed events are part of the social participation mechanisms recognized by the Interministerial Working Group (GTI), established by the MDHC, to draft the proposal for the National Policy on Human Rights and Business. Other social participation mechanisms include public hearings and expert interviews – a phase already completed – as well as public consultations, via a digital platform, conducted by the Ministry – the next phase to be developed.
