On the 9th, the CEBDS Water Thematic Chamber (CT) was received by the associate Ambev, at the Águas da Serra Brewery, for a face-to-face meeting between the CT members. Fifteen companies participated in the meeting, which was also attended by co-leaders Mariana Appel and Luis Paulo Zanin Armacollo.

The meeting aimed to promote responsible management of water resources, in addition to sharing insights, exchanging perspectives and addressing issues of critical relevance for sustainable water management. The event also saw the launch of the publication “ESG and Water Circularity”, in partnership with the consultancy firm CINGIR CONSULTORIA ESG.

The main topics discussed at the meeting were:

– The valorization of inter-company collaboration based on the strategic and conscious use of water;
– Incentives for the adoption of sustainable technologies;
– The need for metrics and monitoring of water resources;
– And the standardization of processes and the adoption of robust indicators.
