COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan starts in two days! One of the expectations at the Conference is that some countries will present their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), specific goals that each signatory to the Paris Agreement assumes to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.
To explore opportunities related to the Brazilian NDC, we held an exclusive workshop at Neoenergia's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, with the presence of Ana Toni, National Secretary for Climate Change, Aloisio Lopes P. de Melo and Érico Rocha, also from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
The topic has been the focus of several CEBDS actions, including the recent 'Call to Action from the Brazilian Business Sector Towards an Ambitious and Implementable NDC', which has the support of 55 associated companies.
