Traceability systems can support emissions estimates at the farm level for Scope 3 inventories; however, they do not reliably guarantee the transfer of financial resources to producers who are expected to change their practices. Based on experiences from Brazil and India, this event analyzes the data, structures, and financial mechanisms necessary to transform traceability into an investment.
