Bayer hosts joint Ordinary Meeting of CT Sistemas Agroalimentares and the Circular Economy Working Group

  • Posted in 25/06/2024

On June 19th, we held the 2nd Ordinary Meeting of the Thematic Chamber (CT) of Agri-food Systems and the Circular Economy Working Group – CEBDS.

The event, which hosted Bayer, associated with CEBDS, aimed to promote the exchange of references on the topics of business models for circularity, metrics for regenerative production and identification indicators in the form of monitoring.

In addition to the thematic discussions, the meeting was also an opportunity to address the CT and GT agendas for the coming months. Participants discussed metrics and circular and regenerative business models, as well as traceability in the production chain in Brazil, in a group dynamic that encouraged the exchange of ideas and the joint construction of solutions.

We have the presence of the associates Amaggi, Syngenta, Nutrien, Marfrig Global Foods, Ambev, Ambipar, Nestlé, Unilever, Yara Brasil, JBS, Siemens, Arcadis and ALLOS.

Alessandra Fajardo, Director of Strategy and Sustainability at Bayer in Latin America, highlighted the main points for building regenerative agriculture and how the company uses this tool in its operations. Check it out in the video!
