The business vanguard, represented by CEBDS, has already understood that sustainable development is the path to be followed. Therefore, we enthusiastically followed the definition of the federal government's Ecological Transition Plan – which has been called the “Green Package” – and pointed out in a document delivered to Minister Fernando Haddad the synergies between what is being proposed by the Ministry of Finance and the measures long defended by CEBDS.

We believe that the package of measures presented represents an important step towards Brazil's ecological transition, but the effective implementation and detailing of some points are crucial to guarantee the success of the plan and the consolidation of a more sustainable future for the country. The union of efforts between the public and private sectors, in alignment with socio-environmental purposes, will be decisive in achieving these objectives. This event aims to highlight the challenges and opportunities of this process of building the Green Package, highlighting the possibilities for contributions from the productive sector.
