The Council offset the 88 tCO2e of GHG emissions generated by the work of its team over the years 2021 and 2022. This is the seventh Friend of the Climate seal that CEBDS has received.
For this compensation, CEBDS purchased carbon credits from two projects located in Maranhão and Amazonas.
The Amigo do Clima program was created by the consulting firm WayCarbon and, since its inception, has already offset more than 7 million tons of tCO2e.
