Lojas Renner donates R$ 4.1 million to combat the coronavirus

Instituto Lojas Renner will allocate R$ 4.1 million for the purchase of supplies for some SUS hospitals in Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo. “The decision was taken based on the same position that led the company to be the first large retail company to close 100% of its stores throughout the national territory: everyone's responsibility to stop the spread of covid-19 in the country”, says the statement.

Renner, with a network of partners, also enabled the production of masks and aprons for health institutions. “We continue to network with hospitals to meet the most urgent needs. After the donation of 16,500 masks to Hospital Conceição in Porto Alegre and the purchase of another 8,000 masks for Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo, we found that the need for basic supplies is still urgent,” says the company’s statement.
