Audiovisual project visits indigenous villages to tell community myths

This initiative is for the making of an animated film about the myths of the native peoples of Brazil, and will visit indigenous communities in Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Tocantins.

On March 21, the team at Zureta Filmes, from São Paulo, began an immersion in the traditions of indigenous communities. The idea is to place young people from the villages as authors of their own stories, training them in scripting, interviewing and filming techniques. For a month, the group formed by five professionals will visit several villages, collecting and producing content, which will be assembled and animated later in São Paulo.
