Biodiversity and Business: good Brazilian business practices towards Positive Nature

Biodiversity loss poses increasing risks to businesses, while simultaneously amplifying the need to integrate nature, climate, and business strategy. This publication presents the concept of Positive Nature and its main international references, as well as guiding companies in identifying impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities related to biodiversity, with the support of methodologies, metrics, and tools such as TNFD, SBTN, Natural Capital Protocol, and WBCSD roadmaps. The study also compiles case studies of Brazilian companies that have been applying these approaches in practice, offering examples of conservation, restoration, measurement of net positive impact, and biodiversity management that can support the development of corporate strategies aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
