Transport Coalition: How to make the transport sector an active contributor to reducing Brazilian emissions

The study presents the formation and initial objectives of a national coalition focused on decarbonizing the transportation sector in Brazil, aligned with the New NDC and the Climate Plan, in preparation for COP30. Led by Motiva, CEBDS, CNT and Insper's Mobility Observatory, the initiative brings together more than 50 entities from six verticals of the sector. The group has already mapped 90 decarbonization levers, measured the emissions scenario projected for 2050 and quantified the impacts of a reduction trajectory. The effort is ongoing and seeks to consolidate the sector's contribution to the national climate agenda in a collaborative and evidence-based manner.
