Air transport faces the challenge of reducing emissions while responding to the expected growth in passenger demand, requiring solutions capable of combining efficiency, technological innovation, and lower-carbon fuels. The executive report presents the main findings of the Transport Coalition for the segment, including levers related to aircraft renewal and efficiency, operational optimization, increased use of bio-SAF, adoption of mechanisms such as Book & Claim and the development of Power-to-Liquid solutions, as well as the decarbonization of airport operations. The publication points to ways to reduce the emission intensity of Brazilian aviation and support the sustainable growth of the sector until 2050, with greater participation of sustainable fuels and new technologies in the energy matrix.
