The Ministry of Finance has played a key role in promoting a comprehensive and in-depth discussion on building an effective taxonomy to guide economic and financial activities aligned with climate, environmental and social objectives.
The body holds seminars to explore different approaches and methodologies essential for developing a more sustainable economy.
This week, our Executive Director Ricardo Mastroti participated in the Seminar 'Monitoring, Reporting and Verification Systems (MRV) for sustainable finance', presenting the Brazilian edition of Reporting Matters developed by us with the aim of contributing to the standardization of monitoring, reporting and verification systems of impacts.
“Reporting Matters makes a great contribution to the context of this seminar. We have to elevate and standardize systems for monitoring, reporting and verifying impacts. And these systems need to work in an integrated and synergistic way with the green taxonomy, which we have sought to build in this series of seminars, to which we are honored to contribute”, says Ricardo.
