CEBDS, in partnership with WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development, announced a new partnership to boost business engagement towards the UN COP30, which will take place in the Amazon in 2025.

Over the next 18 months, we will work together to mobilize the private sector in Brazil and internationally, promote an ambitious action agenda to keep global warming below 1.5°C, in addition to implementing targets from international agreements.

The focus is on supporting the COP Presidencies, strengthening long-term relationships and coordinating efforts in areas such as equity and regenerative agriculture.

Brazil will play a central role in the global sustainability agenda in the coming years, hosting important events such as COP30.

Both organizations, with extensive experience in sustainability, are committed to leading corporate action to address climate and environmental challenges.
