Project for the Diagnosis of the quality of water for human consumption in the Baixo Taquari watershed

The main objective of this study is to develop a diagnosis of the quality of water for human consumption in the Baixo Taquari Hydrographic Basin, producing a diagnosis of the quality of the supply water of 101 residences located in the Baixo Taquari Hydrographic Basin, together with a thematic location map of the 101 residences located in the Baixo Taquari Watershed, to identify critical supply problems, in identified cases produce and install filters to improve water quality at critical supply points; Propose sustainable actions to adapt water quality to human consumption.

Collection of water from selected producers directly at the point of consumption, general analysis of the collected samples, installation of filters to reduce fluoride and analysis to monitor filtered water and fluoride reduction results.
Analyzes at the point of consumption will be performed until December 2021.
Installation of filters by March 2022.
Filtering monitoring until June 2022.

Follow-up with the University of Santa Cruz do Sul in 2022 and subsequent revalidation of the project (to be analyzed).

Water analysis diagnostic reports, laboratory reports, presentation at events, interviews with rural producers.
