Our Director of Nature and Society, Juliana Lopes, participated in the summit organized by NEXUS Global and the Amazon Investor Coalition, on the 11th, which discussed the paths to prosperity for Brazil and the Amazon, and brought together several actors.
Among the subjects addressed were the role of the private sector in the Amazon, how to make business models viable that keep the forest standing, the challenge of taking a new look at the region with a view to the positive impact and the trajectory of the Business Movement for the Amazon.
Juliana represented CEBDS on the panel on companies and the Amazon, which also included the presence of Iara Vicente, founder and CEO of Nossa Terra Firme, João Meirelles, CEO and General Director of Instituto Peabiru and Rodrigo Figueiredo de Souza, Chief Procurement & Sustainability Officer of Ambev in South America.
