CEBDS hosted Klaus Schwab, founding president of the World Economic Forum, at the last meeting of the year of the Council of Leaders, made up of CEOs from our member companies. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the associated company Citrosuco, in São Paulo, on November 7th. The meeting brought up crucial discussions for the future of sustainable development in Brazil and the world.
On the occasion, Klaus Schwab shared his vision of what is expected from the Brazilian business sector, especially with the country presiding over the G20 in 2024 and the UN Climate Conference in 2025.
We are aware that to build a sustainable future, it is essential to translate visions into concrete actions, such as “From Dubai to Belém and Beyond”, our initiative, which aims to unite the business sector at a global level to promote sustainable development in the coming years.
