The GT's 1st Ordinary Meeting (RO) of 2024 marked an important step towards sustainability and preservation of the region's natural resources. The meeting, hosted by Siemens, the company hosting this event, brought together leaders, experts and stakeholders committed to protecting the Amazon and its vital ecosystems.
The starting point of the meeting consisted of the presentation of the strategy for 2024, outlining an action plan to address the challenges facing the forest.
In the second moment of the meeting, participants engaged in a practical exercise of collective construction: the definition of quality and integrity criteria in Natural Climate Solutions for the Amazon.
The opening of the event was led by Luis Mosquera, Vice President of Legal, Institutional Relations and Sustainability at Siemens; and Juliana Lopes, our Director of Nature and Society, who highlighted the importance of collaboration and joint action to face the complex challenges facing the Amazon.
