Launch of the Guide for Issuing Green Bonds in Brazil

The Brazilian Business Council Sustainable Development (CEBDS) and the Brazilian Federation of Banks (FEBRABAN) launch October 21st, at the Maksoud Plaza Hotel in São Paulo, the “Guide for Issuing Green Bonds in Brazil”. The document was prepared in partnership with Sitawi Finanças do Bem and had the collaboration of the Center for Sustainability Studies at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (GVces/FGV-EAESP).

Of a recommendatory nature, the material provides guidance regarding the process of issuing Green Bonds in Brazil, indicating the particularities of this market, its potential and the procedures for framing projects.

The Guide is aimed at participants in the fixed income market in Brazil, including companies, financial institutions and investors, as well as other agents interested in issuing Green Bonds, called Green Bonds in the international market.

To participate in the publication launch event, register on the FEBRABAN. Participation is free and registrations will be completed in the order they are received. The event schedule will be announced soon.
