On June 22, CEBDS, through the Biodiversity Thematic Chamber, organized the CEBDS Action Plan webinar for Public Consultation of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSSP), as part of the business sector's initiatives to support the government in updating the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSSP), aligned with the new Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
The event was attended by Professor Braulio Dias, Director of Conservation and Land Use at the Ministry of the Environment (MMA) and Paul Dale, coordinator of the Biodiversity CT at ABEMA (Brazilian Association of State Environmental Entities) and representative of SEMIL/SP.
The next steps will consist of three working sessions, in which each set of goals will be actively and purposefully discussed. These meetings promise to provide valuable contributions to the development of the EPANB, strengthening the dialogue between the government and the business sector on biodiversity preservation.
