The Circular Economy proposes the immediate change in production and consumption patterns that still follow a linearity: extraction of natural resources, manufacturing, distribution, use or consumption and disposal. Thinking about the entire product, connecting the end of the production line to the beginning of it, the circular economy aims to guarantee, in the long term, the life cycle not only of products and services, but, mainly, of living beings.
This is the theme of this publication, the result of a meeting in the Quebrando Muros series, held in São Paulo, which brought together experts to debate new consumption patterns from the perspective of circular economy practices.
