In preparation for the UN Climate Conference, which takes place from November 6 to 18 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, CEBDS (Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development) will hold the event Pre-COP 27: The role of the business sector in climate negotiations. The webinar will be broadcast live on November 1st, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
The meeting will bring together experts and present the main topics to be discussed at the Conference. It will also address the key points to be advocated by the Brazilian business sector. The agenda includes topics such as the political context, climate negotiations and the role of companies, net-zero journeys, Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and the carbon market, the Amazon, biodiversity, agribusiness, and the energy transition.
