The Climate and Society Institute (iCS) and the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS) understand that the content of the publication “Opportunities and barriers in financing nature-based solutions” can support the qualification of the debate around Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. Furthermore, it can contribute to the decision-making process of the business sector, federal and local governments and civil society as a whole, by providing a technical and pragmatic basis for how the promotion of nature-based solutions can be carried out with environmental integrity, climate and social issues and bring many fruits to the country.
