10 movies about climate change you need to watch

The theme of climate change had a “media boom” during the climate crisis, at the beginning of the 21st century, when Al Gore, environmental activist and former US vice president, released the film “An Inconvenient Truth” (2007), which won the Oscar and raised contemporary questions about global warming. Actor Leonardo Di Caprio also produced a series of films about the climate, and the audiovisual became a popular platform for the dissemination of dilemmas, scientific discussions and real stories related to the theme. From 2007 to 2019, Al Gore produced a new film, Netflix produced several documentary series and the World Bank organized Film4Climate, a global film competition on the subject.
