G20: CEBDS represents business sector in task forces

  • Posted in 07/03/2024

The CEBDS is integrating four task forces from the B20, the G20's official dialogue forum with the global business community, representing the Brazilian business sector. The groups bring together experts and leaders from different economic sectors to outline strategies and formulate recommendations for a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous world.

We are part of the following groups:

Sustainable food systems & agriculture

Energy transition & climate

Finance & infrastructure

Women, diversity & inclusion in business

The theme “Inclusive Growth for a Sustainable Future” will serve as a guide for the work of B20 Brasil.

In addition to the groups above, CEBDS is also participating in the Sherpas Trail Bioeconomy Initiative. Brazil is promoting discussion on the bioeconomy at the G20, aiming to build a common understanding and define high-level principles on the topic.

The Initiative, coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is structured around three thematic axes: Science, technology and innovation for the bioeconomy, Sustainable use of biodiversity for the bioeconomy and The role of the bioeconomy in promoting sustainable development.
