Green Bonds – Ecosystem, Issuance, Process and Regional Perspectives

This publication presents the panorama of green bonds in the Brazilian context, addressing the ecosystem in which this market is developing, the main actors involved, the issuance process and the challenges of expanding green bonds in the country. The study is part of a global project promoted by the Strategic Alliance, which brings together GIZ, the German cooperation agency, and SEB, the Swedish pioneer bank for issuing green bonds. CEBDS is a partner of the project in Brazil. With this publication, CEBDS seeks to broaden the knowledge and boost the green bonds market in the country, providing inputs for corporate decision making.
