This publication contains the adaptation for the Brazilian scenario of the document “CEO Guide to Food System Transformation” published by the Global Business Council for Sustainable Development (acronym WBCSD) in October 2019. The document was produced by ERM BRASIL LTDA in partnership with the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), with the main methodological framework being interviews with business leaders and non-business actors who work in the food sector in Brazil.
The Guide brings seven paths of action, illustrated by business case studies, to transform Brazilian food systems in the coming decades. The Guide's annex also points to the 2030/2050 sustainability goals of the 16 companies involved in the development of this document, and the engagement for the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit.
