CEBDS was present at the ESG Energy Forum, held by IBP - Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas from June 20th to 22nd, with the participation of the Director of Climate, Energy and Sustainable Finance at CEBDS, Viviane Romeiro.

Viviane participated in the panel “Climate Litigation on the ESG agenda of companies” together with Natalie Unterstell, President of the Talanoa Institute, André Andrade, PhD, Director of the National Secretariat for Climate Change of the MMA, and Caio Borges, Portfolio Manager of the Instituto Clima e Society.

At the event, the director highlighted that with the arrival of the issue to the judiciary, the business sector has been questioned and provoked on several fronts and that practices such as "greenwashing" and even non-compliance with established climate goals, can generate, in addition to the damage corporate image, civil liability actions.
