CEBDS participates in the “Nature Ambition Loop Dialogue” event at COP28

  • Posted in 13/12/2023

How can key business, finance, subnational cities and regions, young people, indigenous peoples and other leaders play an essential role in supporting the COP 28 Action Agenda and intergovernmental processes, including the Global Stocktake?

This was the focus theme of the “Nature Ambition Loop Dialogue” event, promoted by UN Climate Change, in which Viviane Romeiro, our Director of Climate, Energy and Sustainable Finance, participated and reinforced the need to co-create effective solutions to face climate and natural crises, emphasizing the importance of global cooperation.

The Brazilian business sector, represented by us, actively contributes to global efforts to tackle climate and environmental crises. One of the examples of this are the multi-stakeholder Action Platforms to direct business strategies towards net-zero emissions and positive nature trajectories, being essential to catalyze the collaboration and support of leaders from non-involved parties, promoting the transition to a world with net zero emissions and positive for nature.
