We play an essential role in promoting corporate sustainability, focusing efforts on three fundamental pillars: ambition, implementation and transparency. Our approach aims to align companies with science through ambitious goals, known as “science based targets”.
This was one of the themes that Viviane Romeiro, Director of Climate, Energy and Sustainable Finance CEBDS, highlighted at the seminar “Brazil Towards COP 30”, which took place last week. The event was promoted by Editora Globo, CCR SA, Valor Econômico and CBN, and was opened by the Minister of the Environment, Marina Silva.
One of the highlighted panels addressed “Opportunities for the country and the balance of Brazilian participation in COP 28”, with the participation of Gabriel Henrique Lui from Casa Civil, Luciana Costa from BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development), Miguel Setas from CCR and Viviane Romeiro herself representing CEBDS. The moderation was in charge of the renowned journalist Miriam Leitão.
