The pandemic increased people's risk of food and nutritional insecurity, it also hampered access – which was already restricted – to healthy and fresh foods due to marketing restrictions; interruption of public food purchasing programs and increase in food prices, especially fruits and vegetables, due to disruptive events in the supply chain. In view of this, it is urgent to coordinate coordinated actions between companies, governments and society to act in the face of this food emergency situation and plan the post-pandemic future.
